Personal needs, turned into products.
I've taken supplements since I was a teenager. I was the athletic one: multivitamins, creatine, protein powder, the usual stack.
Then, well into my 30s, things started to change. More aches. Less mobility. Slower to bounce back, less in the tank. Nothing dramatic. That's how ageing tends to arrive: one small thing fades, then the next, so gradually that most of us brush it off.
So I started adding more bottles. At one point, I realised we had around 26 supplements on the shelf at home.
What I really wanted was simple to say and surprisingly hard to find: a health routine that takes care of my daily health needs and supports healthy ageing.
The research told me I wasn't imagining the changes. Scientists followed 954 people and measured 18 markers of ageing across the body's organ systems. Differences in how fast people were ageing were already showing in their 20s and 30s.1 Ageing starts long before we feel "old", and it doesn't happen in one place. It happens across the whole body.
So I looked for one product that covered both. There wasn't one. The "all-in-ones" each covered part of the picture: a daily essential, an electrolyte, a night formula, a longevity blend. To get everything, I'd have needed three or four of them, and as many subscriptions.
That gap made sense once I thought about how we're taught to see health: a drug for this, a supplement for that. Even medical school teaches the body in pieces, by subject (anatomy, physiology, pathology) or by system (the heart, the muscles and joints). But the more the science evolves, the clearer it becomes that the body works as a network, every system connected to the others. That field is called systems biology, and it became my starting point.
With a background in biomedical innovation, I decided to build it myself. I spent the next three years researching and developing Intelligent Systems Nutrition™: one scoop, formulated across 4VIA's 12 Systems of Healthy Ageing and built around how they connect.
I hadn't planned a second formula. But during those three years, I kept coming back to the night. I'd taken magnesium and zinc before bed for years, because I knew the night mattered, and the more I read, the clearer it became why: the body doesn't stop when we do. Some of its most important work happens while we're asleep. A routine that only looked after the day was leaving half of it out. So Rest Phase™ was created to complete the routine, providing round-the-clock nutritional support.
Two products. But not two prices, and not two subscriptions.
One routine: Morning + Night, with 120+ ingredients in forms chosen on the research. For the health you notice. And the longevity built in the background.
